Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I use Majicko's custom error pages?
This is simple enough. You look in Majicko's root directory for a file called ".htaccess" and get ready to make some changes to it. If there is no .htaccess file in your directory, we'll have to make one. Open your favorite raw text editor and save the file as ".htaccess". This file can be a little wierd because it might show up on your computer as having no name at all if file extensions are hidden on your computer. Enter the following lines into your .htaccess file. ErrorDocument 401 /401.php ErrorDocument 403 /403.php ErrorDocument 404 /404.php ErrorDocument 500 /500.php That should do it. Save the file to your webspace and your website should be using these as their error documents now. Try them out! Try to navigate to a page that you know doesn't exist and see if you get your Majicko error page. |
